Lucas Perez wages

Seen it widely reported that Lucas Perez is earning £80k a week. But when he signed for Arsenal it was widely reported that he was earning £40k a week at the Emirates.
Can someone help clear this up?
Because I can't sleep at night thinking he might be earning Carroll-sized wages with us.

Yes, but if we include the cups then Carroll scored a goal with just about the last kick of the last match we played in.
So overall, he was a bit shit, but on current form, he is 1 goal every minute - easily the best footballer in the world RIGHT NOW. Better even than Trevor B. Sorry Trev.

statistic are useless unless interpreted properly. i played my first game of the season last weekend, scored and then had to come off after 15 minutes injured.
Trevor B: 1 goal every 15 minutes.

I think with perseverance and help with his confidence, Lucas Perez will come good.
It wasn't so long ago when many were calling Felipe a complete waste of money and look how that turned out.
El Pel wanted Lucas. He must have seen something in the boy and I trust his judgement above others.

Betis can't afford £80k a week, probably looking to pay about 1/4 of that on a dry loan.

I live in Coruña as well. Perez has done nothing but raise the profile of West Ham here. He had 1 decent season with Depor and got a great move to Arsenal because of it.
Arsenal couldn't wait to get rid of him. Hope he goes to Betis as Silva would be a better option.

You are right ...... Arnautovic is Maradona and Lucas Perez does not know what a soccer ball is.
If we add what each one charges: which is better ?.
In Spain Barcelona joined Alcacer last year and did not score a goal against the rainbow and now he is the Bundesliga's top scorer ....... last year was very bad and this year is the best? , we also said that he was a bad player.
How much money could be transferred now in Borussia?

Nothing wrong with sticking up for your hometown boy, but its silly comparing his form to Arnie’s.
Perez makes me laugh watching him play, he’s so bad (at the moment), but hopefully he improves in the same way that Arnie and Anderson have.
We still have half a season to go.

7 goals in 15 PL games is an excellent return in anyone's books. He is currently 12th in the goals to minutes played ratio this season. As you would imagine, most of the players ahead of him in those stakes are at the top clubs. You might be an idiot, worth checking.

Noble interview where he mentions Perez as the best finisher at the club in training, perhaps he needs a little time before he's condemned, like so many other players in out past.

If you go to Betis I would be happy ..... here Pellegrini has not been very fair with him.
Neither Carroll nor Chicharito have been better than him even though he has given them more opportunities.
Arnautovic, I say again, has not scored many goals for the games he has played.
In Betis Lucas I would play the Uefa Europa League ....... I would be very happy but I prefer that I will win here first.
